Mathew Yagudayev, DPM, is a highly skilled foot and ankle surgeon who has advanced training in innovative treatment solutions and minimally invasive procedures. Dr. Yagudayev cares for patients in Queens at Ideal Foot Care, located in Astoria, New York.
For his undergraduate studies, Dr. Yagudayev attended Queens College, City University of New York in Flushing, where he graduated magna cum laude. He was then accepted into graduate school and earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in New York City. Dr. Yagudayev graduated as valedictorian of his class.
After graduation, Dr. Yagudayev went through a comprehensive foot and ankle surgical residency at the Northwell Health Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. During his residency, Dr. Yagudayev received extensive training in elective surgeries of the foot and ankle, including cosmetic surgery. He is board qualified in foot and ankle surgery through the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.
Dr. Yagudayev specializes in conservative management of foot and ankle pathology with the use of custom foot orthosis. He also has special interests in pediatric pathology of the foot and ankle, in addition to sports medicine, wound care, and trauma.
Being fluent in both English and Russian give Dr. Yagudayev the opportunity to communicate with patients who may otherwise struggle with language barriers.
